USATF Mid-Atlantic Association Championships

This is the first meet in the National Junior Olympic progression and is open to all TTC athletes. Fees are included in your 2017 TTC Membership! USATF Junior Olympic Medals are awarded to the top six finishers in each event of each age division.

–Spectators: Admission $4/day or $6 for both days. Children 5 & under are free.

Packet Pick up: 6:45am – 8:00am
Coaches Meeting: 7:15am, finish line
Warm-ups: Track is open for warm-ups until 7:50am. After that, athletes must warm up outside the track. A call will be made to allow hurdlers to warm-up over hurdles prior to their races.



This meet is offered to the following age groups:
Age determination as of December 31, 2017

8 & Under: Year of Birth 2009 & later
9–10: Year of Birth 2007-2008
11–12: Year of Birth 2005-2006
13–14: Year of Birth 2003-2004
15–16: Year of Birth 2001-2002

  • Each athlete must compete in his/her age division only. There will be no “moving up” in any events, including relays.
  • Competitors in the 8 & Under, 9-10 and 11-12 Divisions may compete in a maximum of three events, including relays.
  • Competitors in the 13-14 and 15-16 Divisions may compete in a maximum of four events, including relays.
  • Parents and coaches are not permitted in the check-in area unless checking in an athlete who is competing in another event.
  • Competitors must wear their assigned bib number during competition. Replacement bib numbers can be purchased for $5. Don’t forget your bib on day 2!
  • Only ¼” spikes are permitted on the track. Meet management will provide starting blocks and batons.
  • USATF Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the top six individuals and top six relay teams in each event of each age division.
  • **Relays will be determined by TTC Coaches. If participating in a relay, TTC will enter you accordingly – Enter/select your other events below.
  • Parking Note: There is limited parking lot space at the athletic complex. Anticipate having to park on the surrounding streets.
  • Participant and Release form is required with meet entry and TTC will authorize on behalf of the athlete’s parent/guardian. View the waiver here.

The top six individuals and relay teams in each age division for each event at the Association Championships will advance to the USATF Region 2 Championships to be held July 6-9 in Rochester, NY. Qualifying athletes must declare that they will participate in the regional championships (declaration period: June 18-30th).

The top five athletes and relay teams in each age division for each event at the Region 2 Championships will qualify for the National Junior Olympic Championships to be held July 25-29 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS.



This meet is offered at NO COST to 2017 TTC Members. All meet fees are included in your registration. So excited to have a strong turn out of TTC athletes competing! Please be considerate of meet officials and only enter if you plan to attend/compete.
